Pelican Paradise is a large integrated township development in Dili, Timor-Leste, designed to become a new center for business, living, and tourism. The project includes hotels, convention facilities, education and healthcare centers, residential areas, and green spaces, with a focus on sustainable and community-driven development.
Client's Requirement
The client contacted our Translation Project Manager, Eva, to translate their company marketing pitch decks into Chinese and adapt the content for Chinese investors.
Challenges
The major challenges with the Chinese translation project were ensuring the accuracy and consistency of fixed terms in both English and Chinese, and effectively adapting the marketing language to resonate with Chinese investors. This required not only precise Chinese business translation, but also careful localization of tone, style, and messaging to align with the expectations and cultural preferences of the Chinese investors.
Chinese Copywriter's Approach
- Our Translation Manager communicated with the client to understand their requirements and gather all relevant information, including the files to be translated, a glossary of fixed terms, special notes, and the expected turnaround time.
- The project was then assigned to one of our professional translators with over 20 years of experience in real estate and investment. After the initial translation was completed, it was proofread by a senior editor to ensure accuracy and consistency of terminology.
- Before delivering the final version to the client, Eva performed a final quality check to ensure everything met the highest standards.
